Getting Started with The Geometer's Sketchpad™
The Geometer's Sketchpad™ is dynamic geometry software licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Education for school and home use. In order to use .gsp files supplied on this site, Sketchpad must be downloaded and installed on the computer.
Installation Instructions
- Download the correct version of the software for your operating system from www.keypress.com/gsp/download.
- Run the installer.
- When you are prompted, enter the License Name and Authorization Code supplied by your school. (You will be able to use the program in a limited way for 20 minutes at a time without a code.)

Additional Supports
- If your teacher is unsure what the authorization code is, they can locate the Operational Contact for their board on OSAPAC.ca and request the code via email.
